Important news related to e-banking functionalities: even safer and user-friendly
starting from Monday, June 8, the e-banking of Axion SWISS Bank is enriched with two important features that will offer an increased security and will make it more user-friendly.
Anti-fraud functionality for certain payment transactions
This functionality will be activated when payments entered by the user deviate from its habits. If considered necessary by the system, a further payment confirmation will be requested through a security code, based on the e-banking access method chosen by the customer (contained in the matrix card, received via SMS or generated by mosaic scan using the AxionTAN application). This mechanism guarantees a higher level of security for the user.
Predisposition for QR invoices
On July 1 2020, the QR bill will enter into force in Switzerland. This news will be introduced by all Swiss financial institutions, as part of the national project linked to the payments harmonization (ISO 20022). In view of this date, the payment type "QR bill" will be included in e-banking from 8 June, but its use will in any case make sense from 1 July. You will have the possibility to scan the QR code by a normal webcam (integrated on laptop or external for desktop PC) that will allow an automatic input of payment details. It will still be possible to enter the payment manually. The red and orange payments slips will still be used for a transitional period after which they will be completely replaced by the QR bill.
